Giants @ Packers
In week 5 these teams faced off in a closely contested battle which ended with a 7 point win by the Packers 23-17. A lot has changed since week 5 though as the giants would begin a 6 game win streak and the Packers would begin to fluctuate. The Packers have ended the season strong winning 6 straight after Aaron Rodgers proclaimed that they could “run the table.” This game’s most important match-up will feature The hot packers offense versus the tremendous Lions defense. The Giants defense finished second in the league in lowest opponent passer rating along with 1st in Red Zone defense and second stopping the run. Meanwhile it seems as of late nothing can stop Aaron Rodgers as he has thrown 18 Tds to 0 INTs. It will be interesting to see who wins this battle as it may determine the game as we all know the Giants receivers such as Odell can always get hot and if the Packers can’t respond they could be down in a hurry. At the same time though the Giants offense has been unreliable as of late and I believe winning 3 times in a row in Lambo as the away team can’t be done.
Packers continue to try to run the table as they Win 27-24.
Lions @ Seahawks
Unlike the afternoon game Monday this game should be an exciting playoff matchup between two great teams with great quarterbacks. Unfortunately for the the Lions they have to travel to the home of the 12th man, Seattle, where the Seahawks are 7-1 and will make it hard for the Detroit Lions Offense to concentrate as the Stadium is gonna be pumping. The Detroit Lions have been a great team but have lost the last three games and have raised concerns especially on the defensive side of the ball. Their offense this season has been great at times but their lack of a running game has made them too predictable as of late. The Seahawks on the other hand have a great defense currently 3rd in YPG and Rushing Yards per game meaning this game will come down to the Detroit Lions air attack versus the Legion of Boom.
I think that the Seahawks will continue of dominance at home in the playoffs and edge out a win 24-17.
