East Rutherford- That man is back. Odell Beckham JR tore the Ravens apart on Sunday in the Giants 27-23 win to get them back to .500 at 3-3. The Giants offense got off to a slow start scoring just seven points in the first half.
After going scoreless in the Giants first four games Odell Beckham was losing his cool. Knocking down field goal nets, getting called for stupid penalties, and starting fights with defenders. It looked like it was going to be another rough game for Odell Beckham JR after he fumbled on the Giants first play from scrimmage. Than he went down with a hip pointer making his return to the game unclear.
When number #13 woke up there was no putting him to bed. The big game started for Odell in the third quarter when Eli Manning hit him for a first down gain that turned into a 75 yard touchdown as Beckham put on the jets flying into the end zone celebrating by jumping hurdles, and embracing the field goal net he punched three weeks earlier.
A few drives later Eli Manning hit Beckham for 43 yards a drive that Beckham racked up 55 total yards. The big drive led by Beckham set up a Josh Brown Field goal as The Giants took a 20-16 lead.
The Ravens fought back. A 75 yard drive ending a two yard touchdown by running back Terrance West put Baltimore up 23-20 with two minutes.
After a dropped pass by Bobby Rainey, and a pair of short completions to Tight End Larry Donnel the Giants had a Fourth and one with the game on the line. Having almost no running game the Giants had to throw and the monster of Odell Beckham insured throwing would be no issue. Manning hit a wide open Beckham in the middle of the Field and Odell flew. 66 yards to the house to win the game for the Giants.
After weeks of pressure from within the organization, fans, and the media Odell Beckham racked 222 Yards, caught eight passes, and found the end zone twice. The Giants will head to London next week to take on the Rams with a lot of confidence in their star player.
